TERMS & CONDITIONS


Deposit: A 30% deposit will be charged on the day of booking. Any remaining balance will be due to the property on arrival.

 

Cancellations: Bookings can be cancelled up to 4 week(s), 2 day(s) and 21 hour(s) before 21:00 on the day of check in free of charge. Bookings cancelled less than 4 week(s), 2 day(s) and 21 hour(s) before 21:00 on the day of check in will incur a charge of 100% of the booking total.

 

Check In/Check Out: Check-in is from from 16:00 hours although you can check in earlier by prior arrangement. Additional charges may be payable. Check out is by 11:00am or later if required by prior arrangement. Additional charges may be payable.

 

Breakfast: Breakfast is not included in price of room. There is a choice of continental or full English breakfast. Breakfast is served between 7am and 9.30am.

 

Children: All children are welcome. Cots are available at an extra cost of £10.00.

 

Pets: Pets are not allowed.


 

Parking: Free parking is available while guests are in residence. Parking is available after stay, however charges will be made. Guests parking their vehicles in the grounds of Downsview are responsible for their own vehicles. Downsview will not be held responsible for any damage to guests’ vehicles.

 

Internet: Wireless internet is available and is free of charge.

 

Extra Charges: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

 

Accessibility information: Support for the Mobility Impaired. Guest rooms are available on the ground floor and there is a ramp from the car park. The lounge, dining room and rooms are spacious. Furniture can be removed/re-arranged for easy access at customer request. See Access Statement for full details.

 

There is a 100% no smoking policy in the building. Any violation of this will result in a £100.00 cleaning charge to the guest.

 

Payments accepted by the Guesthouse are: Cash and All Major Credit & Debit Cards. A debit/credit card used must have an expiry date that is valid after the date of stay.

 

Customers paying by cash are required to provide identification on check in. Acceptable forms of ID are driving licence, passport, utility bill/bank statement (with address) or police warrant card.

 

Guests Liabilities: As a guest you are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated room or the furnishings of the guesthouse. If any act, default or neglect by the guests or organisers results in damage or complaints from other guests, the customer shall be liable to pay to Downsview on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.

 

In the event of willful or negligent interruption to the business or other guests, Downsview will charge the amount of any loss to the customer and terminate the contract of stay. Downsview will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.
